Architecture: a slim view of the W on a chilled morning

On my stroll to the Zaza gallery last week I managed to snap two shots of the W hotel at Victory while my glove-less fingers froze in the chilly forty something degrees. Dallas' uptown area is most definitely growing taller everyday with new bursts of midrises and highrises. The W is quite interesting in how its elevations contradict each other in width. You can compare yourself based on these two images! It is quite a feeling when you are standing edge to edge with a highrise and you push your head back to look all the way up. Do you know what I'm saying?
