Dwell: garden update

Finally the squash  [gourd] has decided to grow out of the many many squash flowers that keep blooming every single day. All types of squash flowers are edible though [but deep fried in most recipes]. As for the other vegetables in the garden, my sister and I devoured the bittermelon, there are new blooms in the broad bean plant and there are no signs of any zucchini - only flower blooms.  

This is a lovely zinnia in full bloom - I was amazed to see how tall the zinnia branches grow.

Marigolds have been blooming every week in this tiny plant - I also love how tiny the flowers are itself. More updates will follow especially of the squash - let's see how big it gets!
