DIY: tissue paper fun

This is a baby shower for a friend where tissue paper has been used as the main material to set everything. From the flowers to the tassels and the table skirt, everything is done with beautifully paired tones of tissue in pink, orange and gold. 

The blue wall is covered with the help of bed sheets and valence panels, thereby creating a neutral surface to work with which also compliments the colors being used. I think pink is used way too much for baby girls, so this palette seemed way more fun and exciting. 

Buying fresh flowers to match the hues of the babyshower just adds that extra little touch. Some may think that the gold was unnecessary, but a little sparkle was much needed.
