Architecture: Hatirjheel, Dhaka Bangladesh

This is one of the new handsome bridges completed in Dhaka over the Hatirjheel lake. The Hatirjheel_Begunbari development project includes new roads, bridges and water areas. This particular bridge was near completion when we were travelling. I found the concrete structure striking with its play of lights after dark. It was a much needed project to ease traffic in Dhaka, along with water management necessities and outdoor activities for Dhakaites.
