Architecture: skyscraper movie

This is a movie study of a skyscraper. At first we built a model with chipboard and many many elastic bands and placed a lot of tension in the model by securing everything with bolts to the base at the bottom. In the first few seconds, you will see the secure and tense connections. After that you will see the skyscraper move and form an intense dynamic revealing the spaces and voids in between them. As we cut each elastic band, the model started to take motion and we taped this simultaneously. This project was not followed through otherwise it could have been a great one!
