DIY: one room two ways

This is our second bedroom which we mainly use as a study. My mother is coming over this week from overseas, which has prompted me to turn the room more as a bedroom than a study - but I had to keep everything that was already in there. The bed is actually a futon that folds over as you see in the first image. That is how I used to keep it unless we had a guest overnight. Basically I moved the desk next to the wall hung bookshelf from the window side. And I unfolded and made the bed. See more images below. Click on images to enlarge.
