DIY: picture frame painting

I found a new way of painting my picture frames. I bought these frames that were deeper than usual frames. While I was painting the top portion I suddenly wondered how it would look if painted halfway all the way around. So I taped around the edges so my paint wouldn't run through. And after it was done, it looked wonderful to me! Instead of painting all frames the same way, you can mix them up by doing these tricks.
