DIY: a fine balance
This is my first try on a baby mobile. No, I am not having a baby but my dearest cousin is!
I used natural dry twigs and leaves from the abundance of nature - during my outdoor walks/runs.
The toughest part was to balance the branches - which is the main structure of the mobile and that is the first thing that I did.
I used multiple bright colors to contrast the natural twigs. Also, my cousin wants to decorate in a genderless manner for her first bundle of joy.
I made the birds by drawing a silhouette - coloring them on both sides - and then cutting them out from heavy weight paper.
Once you are done balancing the twigs - the process goes very fast! Click on the pictures for a closer look.
